Donations will be utilized to promote awareness on potato sustainability, carry out research, organize meetings, and pursue other non-for-profit activities based on the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations International Year of Potato theme (Resolution number 4/2005, November 25, 2005). Further, they can be used to help voluntary organizations to buy potatoes for poor.
